Potty Training 101

Potty training is supposed to be a “developmental milestone” for a kid, or at least that is what I have read when researching how to get this sordid, yet absolutely necessary task, done! This is the exact challenge that I find myself, my husband, and son tackling now.

The other night, my son and I were playing in his tent when he suddenly yanked his diaper down and started peeing. Needless to say, I had huge surge of emotions that mixed between horror, dismay, and exasperation, but it quickly subsided into laughter. All I could think of was, “This kid….”

I guess that even potty training is included in the “joys” of motherhood. As tiring and stinky as it may seem, these “joys” are priceless, especially when he throws his hands up in the air and says, “All done!” after he does his business on the floor. As upsetting as it is that my son hasn’t got it down yet, I can’t take life too seriously because these moments are precious. That’s when I realized that maybe potty training is a “developmental milestone,” not only for Brian, but also for me.

Isobella & Chloe knows that when young ladies wear just the right dress, they spontaneously spin, twirl, twist, flitter and jazz for joy! Our long-sleeved scalloped-hem Pink-a-Boo jersey captures this spirit from the moment it easily slips over a girl’s head. The quirky striped pattern gives the illusion of movement, even standing still. But when the girl starts to sashay around, it’s like a cyclone of happiness. Styled in the trend-on combo of dusty pink and gray, the dress also features the season’s hallmark –– fabric corsages. Comfortable, stylish, pretty and fun. Perfect to showcase an active girl’s personality in perpetual motion.

Online Boutique is a Dream Come True

Eight years ago, a passion of mine became a reality. Today, I am blessed enough to still carry out my vision each day. That passion was having a store dedicated to fine boutique girls’ fashions –– a dream that I’ve fostered after having two little girls of my own, constantly searching for unique clothing, and not finding everything I desired in one place. With that vision, I embarked on my quest to create astore that I, as a busy mom, would want to shop at –– a one-stop shop with the best selection of dresses and matching accessories for all ages, so I didn’t have to scour the Internet to put together one outfit.
