Isobella & Chloe’s Fall Collection, available at retail stores now, features our interpretation of sisterhood styles. For traditionalists that want to have their girls (or multiples) occasionally dressed in matching outfits we offer the same styles in a range of sizes. However, we recommend celebrating the sister bond by wearing outfits that complement each other, yet recognize the changing tastes of big sis and the girls’ individual personalities.

Just like babies grow up and change, our boutique has also grown and changed in the nine years we have been open. We focused more on babies and toddlers when we started and now, as our customers’ children have gotten older, we have expanded our sizes and offerings to grow with them. Our plan has always been to be a destination for customers to find something wonderfully unique for the special occasions in a child’s life. Whether it is designing a nursery, picking the perfect baby shower gift, selecting a precious come home outfit for a newborn, finding an heirloom christening outfit, celebrating birthdays, dressing a family for photo shoots, attending weddings and formal events or just a great outfit for the first day of school, we strive to offer just the right merchandise.
We feel honored to have become close friends with so many amazing families in the southeast Wisconsin area. Seeing brand new precious babies every single day is my absolute favorite part of my job! Every single one is truly a miracle.

Isobella and Chloe is a brand that we LOVE! It is our most popular brand with moms. The soft, drapey fabric in gorgeous colors is what consistently draws customer to the line. Styles are always fresh, exciting and picture perfect! Since the line starts at 3-month sizing and goes up to size 14, it is easy to coordinate sisters in outfits perfect for their age and attitude. As an owner, I appreciate the fact that I can call and usually get additional sizes shipped in season if we are sold out. It really helps the line sell through.
The addition of matching hair accessories to complement the dresses works great for us. My sales rep, Kathy Fedoryshyn, does a private buying set up for me each season and I love it because I can schedule a couple of hours to really look at the line and plan my buying without having to cram it into a busy market week and share samples with other buyers. Flexible buying allows me to add multiple pieces in the popular sizes and start and stop size runs to fit our customer’s buying habits. Not having rigid pre-packs is awesome.
Isobella and Chloe’s patient staff on the other end of the phone never minds checking inventory, often 2 to 3 times a day, for a customer in the store trying to decide on dresses for a group of girls. Shipping is wonderful, too! The professional photos they offer each season of every single piece in the line definitely makes this brand easy to promote on our website and Facebook page.

During the hot days of summer, kids just want to keep cool having fun! Invite your children’s friends to a park or your backyard for some chills and thrills at a “Have a nICE Day” Party! Beat the heat by having a cool time. Here’s how to start chillin’:
ATTIRE: Swimwear is a must.
GAMES: These are some of our ideas, all involving ice:
Ice Cube Relay: Pairs or teams put one ice cube on a spoon. Holding with one hand they run across to their partner and pass the spoon. If the cube falls, you’re out.
Water Balloon Toss: This is a classic! Have a bucket filled with water balloons of different sizes. Participants stand in a line across from a partner. Toss one balloon back and forth. Maybe take a step back after every one or two throws. Break the water bomb, get wet, and your out. (You can also play an ice cube toss game or a race to fill a jar with ice cubes or cold water.)
Blind Ice Cube Surprise: Fill a medium sized bucket with clear ice cubes. Add a few colored or flavored ice cubes, equal to the number of party guests, or a few more. Blindfold each player. The participant has to put their hand in the bucket of cubes and choose one ice cube. If it is a colored cube, they win a prize of your choice. Take turns, once prize per person.
The Meltdown: Give guests an ice cube to hold in their hands. The goal is to melt the ice cube as fast as they can, any way they can. The winner with the first puddle wins!
Ice Block Party: Get one or more large ice blocks. Kids can put their feet on them, sit on them, but not move them. Have each guess how long the big blocks of ice will take to melt. (Or weigh the block to start, and again in a specified time period. Guests guess the weight of the block after the time limit.)
COOL TREATS:
An ice party has so many ways to keep cool with treats: Here are a few ideas:
Sno Cones: Shave ice, flavored syrups and bowls or paper cones are ideal for kids to make their own.
DIY Ice Cream Sundaes: Flavors, toppings, spoons and scoops. It’s fun to make a long “trough” and have the kids go to it! (I used a new piece of rain gutter once.) So many ways to get kids screamin’ for ice cream! You can even ask the guests to bring a pint of their favorite flavor if you want.
Icicles: Freeze your own fruit juice pops or buy frozen icicles. Or make it an eating contest. Watch out for “brain freezes!”
Flavored Ice Cubes for Drinks: Freeze a variety of flavored ice cubes in trays. Make plenty ahead. Kids can use tongs to put flavored cubes in their drinks! Or put popsicle sticks in them for quick treats.
SWIMWEAR REVIEW:

Several years ago, our family bought Best of Chums, known for its clever and whimsical knitted gift sets, booties, tees and hats. Although Best of Chums International remains our corporate banner, our vision for our girls’ apparel is now centered around dresses for both informal and special occasions and swimwear, both under the Isobella & Chloe brand name.
Many are curious about who Isobella & Chloe are to our business. Actually, we chose these girl’s names as a fictitious, yet symbolic namesakes the essence of our brand. At the time, I thought the names were just pretty names for our beautiful dress collection. But as the years have passed, I realize that our brand name reminds me of sisterhood, girlfriends, families and how all children grow up expressing their individual gifts, talents and most of all, unique personalities.
Isobella & Chloe universally connotes to me a girl’s diversity of interests, activities and most of all, families. To some, “Isobella” may sound sophisticated, fancy, polite, elegant and a bit mysterious. While “Chloe” reflects a mirror opposite defined by fun, sweetness, adventure and natural beauty. Whatever the interpretation, Isobella & Chloe the brand celebrates the unique personality of every young girl. Our dress collections reflect this diversity with a combination of everyday casual wear and beautiful dresses that become part of life’s most memorable days and nights.
Our active wear is designed for daily comfort, school day activities and casual indoor or outdoor adventures. While our fancier lines are crafted with unique finishing touches and fabrics perfect for special occasions, holidays, family gatherings, parties, afternoon teas and portraits.
